Paloma is a young director who studied Fine Arts in Valencia and has been living and working in Barcelona since 2004. As a young child she would spend hours reading and drawing comic strips, and among her wide-ranging interests she loves everything to do with art and creativity (design, the fine arts, fashion, architecture, scenography, literature and advertising…), fields that nourish her insatiable curiosity and eagerness to learn, which, as she says, just keeps growing.
She has a passionate feeling for music, and in her short career to date has made more than 30 videoclips for major labels such as Universal Music or Warner Music and for smaller independent labels, many of which have been selected for prestigious music events and competitions.
Her other great passion is film, which in 2005 prompted her to make her first short, Soledad, shortlisted at independent film festivals in Spain and beyond (Helsinki).
She loves technology and the new formats of communication such as video art, but she also likes retro images, and a distinctive combination of new tech and a craft approach informs her work, which is remarkable for its great aesthetic sensibility.
